Nohoch Mul

Still plugging away on my vacation photos. I think I have about 10 pages left to do. My goal is to be done BEFORE the one year anniversary, so I better get crackalackin! If only work and family didn't get in the way of scrapping! LOL!

Here's a simple page of us on the top of Nohoch Mul at Coba. I had to sneak the washi tape out of Julia's Smashbook supplies. Very cool stuff! I may have to buy my own, now.  ;)

And here's a page using a lot of Cricut elements. The leaves and the title block were cut using Storybook, my all time favourite cartridge. I used Coordinations paper for the leaves, cut, sanded and curled for dimension.

Fine Feathered Friends

Usually, trying to scrapbook photos that I really love sends shivers down my spine. The pressure to make the page as special as the pictures can be overwhelming and I am very rarely happy with the page when I'm done. But, for some reason, this page just fell into place. And I just love it! I love how the bright colours of the patterned paper make these photos pop. And as an added bonus, the papers are from a very old Scraptivity kit!

It's nothing fancy, but I'm so relieved that the photos are finally scrapped. I'm sure it's no accident that I've left them to the end. ;)

One Little Word - January

The One Little Word phenomenon has always been something that I thought about doing, but never got around to it. Then, last month, I heard Ali Edwards on a Paperclipping podcast and I was really impressed with her explanation. So, I bit the bullet and signed up for the class. 

For 2012, I chose the word "peace". This year I'm going to try to find peace in my life, my relationships and my mind.
