Hi there!
I've been MIA for a couple weeks. Life has been quite hectic and there has been no time to scrapbook. But a couple of weeks ago, my group of friends come over to learn how to do some mixed media. This is what we created.
I did have to make a couple for those that weren't in attendance. But, the girls that were there went wild with embossing paste, stamping, spray mist and ink. And lots and lots of glitter!
My envelope is based on the lovely Kelly Klapstein's design. She has awesome tutorials on hand lettering. I'm working on it and I'm getting better, but I still have a long way to go.
These envelopes hold our cheques until you win the pot. They are my design as they have to fit into a small box for storage. We did this a number of years ago and it was time for new envelopes. We had a lot of fun, but then we always do. We should really to do this kind of stuff more often.
My husband is still vacuuming glitter from the kitchen floor. ;)
Thanks for looking!
Sylvie

We have a group of nine that gets together monthly for a glass of wine and a clothing club. Every one writes a cheque for $30 and one of us wins the pot once a year. We started when the kids were very little as a way for the moms to have an outing. That was almost almost twenty years ago!
