Hi there!
I know it's been a while since I updated my blog. There have been a few events in my life that kept me from having any time to scrap at all.
First of all, I decided in the spring that I would leave the Stuck On U Sketches design team. I knew that with everything that was happening in my life, I wouldn't have much time to scrapbook and I didn't want to let the team down. I want to thank Leah and Nanne for the opportunity to work for them. I really enjoyed it. And maybe when the next design team call comes out, I may just apply again!
On the home front, our daughter graduated high school last week. There was so much to do (hair, makeup, mani/pedis, etc) but, I did find some time to use my scrapbooking talents to do some crafts. This is the banner I made as props for grad photos with friends and then for a decoration at the family BBQ.

Papers: Fancy Pants, Pink Paislee, Jillibean Soup, Bazzill Basics; Embellishments, Jillibean Soup, Teresa Collins, Pink Paislee
For the BBQ, I hung it from an old door we have as a decoration on the deck, along with Julia's school photos from Kindergarten to Grade 12. It doesn't look like much here, but it looked very cute in real life. And Julia was embarrassed, my job was done. LOL!
And here's how it looked with the girls holding the banner. Aren't they cute???
So, that's all I have for you, today. But, I did start scrapping some of the grad photos, so I should have that uploaded in a couple of days. Just warning you that instead of hockey layouts, I'll be scrapping grad layouts for a while. That's just how I roll.
Thanks for looking!
Sylvie
