Hello again!
Today's Stuck On U Sketches Diecut Challenge was to use something that had to do with writing... pens, papers, pencils, books, etc. That was the perfect theme to work with this silly photo of our dog, Miley.
Papers: Crate Paper, Pebbles, October Afternoon, Bazzill Basics; Die cuts: Cricut (Fabulous Finds), SCAL (Fishsoup Font); Spellbinders (Pagemaps Labels & Tags); Punches: Fiskars, EK Success; Stickers: My Minds Eye, Martha Stewart, Echo Park; Stamps & Ink: 7 Gypsies, Close to my Heart, Studio Calico, American Crafts, Distress Ink; Other: American Crafts Flair, October Afternoon brads, Mr Huey's spray mist, staples, twine, acrylic paint
Using the Fabulous Finds Cricut Cartridge, I made this clipboard from kraft cardstock. It's a pretty cool diecut because it make the board and the clip in one cut and then you fold over the clip just like in real life. So, to give it more of a realistic feel, I painted it in silver acrylic paint. I also cut two of the paper edges with the same cartridge and the Fiskars notebook punch.
I also used the Fabulous Finds cartridge to make this cute little paper clip. I've had this cartridge since I first got my machine and have always wanted to make the clips, but just never got around to it. I love it so much, you may be seeing it in many projects to come! ;)
I'm not sure if it shows very well in the photo, but I "wrote" the title with my Cricut and SCAL and used the negative space, backed with patterned paper.

Thanks for stopping by and happy scrapping!
