Cherish You

Hi there!

This week I am sharing a double page spread of my son's professional Graduation photo shoot. Let Nick's Graduation Extravaganza begin!

Papers: Bo Bunny, Daisy D's; Embellishments: Echo Park, Bo Bunny, My Mind's Eye,
unknown wood veneer, Petaloo, Dylusions ink, iHeart Studio cut files;
Photos by KI Photography

If you've scrapbooked a while, you may recognize the blue and red papers. They are very old pieces of Daisy D's papers. I used to love that manufacturer.

There isn't anything too complicated about this layout.  Just lots of paper layering. But, I used up a full sheet of the Bo Bunny rubons on the background. That made me so happy!

The "cherish" had a background the same colour as the globe. So to give it more contrast, I outlined the outside of the chipboard with a black felt pen and then used some beige/brown water colour paint to distress it.  Worked like a charm.

That's all folks!

Hi there!

I am so happy to post the last pages in my vacation album. Woohoo!!!  That was a long time coming. ;)

I wanted to make a page with all the photos that I couldn't use in the rest of the album. I chose my supplies from whatever was sitting on my desk. There are a lot of scraps and leftover stickers. This was a fun layout to put together and I like that I got to use up a lot of the scraps that would have gone in the garbage otherwise.

So happy to have this project completed. Now I can work on Nick's grad photos. Stay tuned!

Thanks for looking!

Beachside Dinner

Hi there!

I love summer, but with all the fun things to do and the kids being home, it puts a real crimp into my scrapping time.  But, I did manage to get this quick pocket page done.

Papers: Glitz Design, Fancy Pants: Stickers: Simple Stories, Fancy Pants,
Heidi Swapp; Enamel dots: Shimelle; Stamp: Heidi Swapp
Nothing really fancy here, but I just love the title photo. I love it's simplicity.
I am almost done the last page in this album. If I could only find an hour or two to myself to finish it up! But, fall is already in the air, so I am trying not to wish this time away.
Hope you are having a busy and fun filled summer!
