Happy Monday!

I have had this Bruno Mars song in my brain to use on a layout of Julia since I first heard it. But, I just couldn't find the right photo.

Then, Julia posted this self portrait on her Facebook page and it all came together for me. And I think the cut-out technique with my Cricut may be my new favourite technique! It looks very cool in real life.

Papers: Bazzill Basics, American Crafts, Echo Park, My Minds Eye; Stickers: Echo Park, My Minds Eye; Chipboard: My Minds Eye; Punch: EK Success; Brad My Minds Eye; Misc: Rhinestones, Doilies

I kept this page fairly simple so that the focus would be on Julia. And I love how the Everyday Eclectic and The Sweetest Thing lines worked so well together.

BTW, the page is straight in real life. Not sure why it looks crooked on here. ;)

Thanks for looking!

  1. I love song lyrics on pages and this is perfect!
    Very pretty page!

  2. Trying out that cutout technique is on the top of my list. This LO is so pretty. I love the colors.

  3. Such a pretty layout. I love the little clusters along the edge and great use of negative cut titles.

  4. so very pretty - I love how feminine this LO is. Thanks for sharing :)
